December - Julia Stiles

One of Hollywood's most engaging young actresses, Julia Stiles has exhibited a rare sophistication in the characters she plays. Recently, Julia completed Universal Pictures The Bourne Identity, starring Matt Damon and directed by Doug Liman, as well as Carolina, a Bregman IAC production, starring Shirley MacClaine and Alessandro Nivola.

Julia, currently stars in Tim Blake Nelson's O (Lions Gate Entertainment), a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy Othello, as well as in Miramax's Hamlet opposite Ethan Hawke. Julia starred in the box office hit (Paramount Pictures/MTV Films), Save the Last Dance, for which she was nominated for two MTV Movie Awards. As a result, Paramount Pictures and MTV Films signed Julia to an open-ended development and production deal.

Julia can also be seen in David Mamet's State and Main for Fine Line costarring William H Macy, Alec Baldwin, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Sarah Jessica Parker. State and Main premiered at the 2000 Montreal Film Festival and won a National Board of Review for Best Ensemble Cast. Previous credits include Disney's acclaimed comedy hit Ten things I Hate About You for which she earned an MTV Movie Award for Best Female Breakthrough Performance in June 2000 and the Chicago Film Critics Award for most Promising Actress. Additional film credits include Miramax's Down To You, Alan J Pakula's The Devil's Own with Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt, I Love You, I Love You Not and M Night Shyamalan's Wide Awake.
