About the cast: Julia Stiles

Julia Stiles (Paige Morgan) exhibits a rare sophistication in the characters she plays. In 2003, she starred as the free-spirited Berkeley graduate-turned-teacher in Mike Newell's Mona Lisa Smile. Her knockout performance in Save the Last Dance earned her two MTV Movie Award nominations. For her breakthrough performance in the hit comedy 10 Things I Hate About You, she garnered an MTV Movie Award and the Chicago Film Critics Award. In 2001, Stiles earned critical praise for her role opposite Stockard Channing in Patrick Stettner's indie feature The Business of Strangers, and was a member of the award-winning ensemble cast of David Mamet's State and Main.

Also among her big screen credits are Michael Steinberg's critically acclaimed drama Wicked, which premiered at the 1998 Sundance and Prague Film Festivals; Alan Pakula's The Devil's Own, with Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt; I Love You, I Love You Not; M. Night Shyamalan's Wide Awake; and the romantic comedy A Guy Thing, opposite Jason Lee.

A talented writer, Stiles' screenplay The Anarchist's Daughter was chosen as one of twelve scripts to be included in the Sundance Institute's Writers Lab. Stiles is also a prolific television and stage actress, and an English literature major at Columbia University.
